Description
Cross-checks a division order's stated decimal interest against an independently recomputed decimal — Net Mineral Acres ÷ Spacing Unit Acres × Royalty Rate, the same formula Royalty Interest already computes — and flags a material mismatch, following the standard division-order review practice of recomputing this figure from title records and comparing it to the printed decimal before signing. This is a verification/comparison tool, not new decimal-interest math: it exists to catch entry errors and clerical mistakes that recomputing the decimal alone would not surface unless compared against what was actually printed.

Assumptions
- NMA, Unit Acres, and Royalty Rate entered here are independently confirmed from title records and the lease, not simply copied from the division order being checked — the verification is only as good as these inputs.
- The tract participates in the unit at a simple acreage ratio (no horizontal-well length-based allocation) — where an Allocation Factor applies instead of a pure acreage ratio, recompute the expected decimal using that factor before comparing.
Limitations
- Does not verify the division order's legal/property description match (the tract, county, and survey or section-township-range) — only the numeric decimal calculation; a correct decimal calculated against the wrong tract will not be caught here.
- A flagged difference does not by itself prove which figure (stated or recomputed) is wrong — it only identifies that they disagree; resolving the discrepancy requires contacting the operator's division order department with the underlying title documentation.
- Does not apply to horizontal/multiunit wells allocated by wellbore length rather than a simple acreage ratio — see the Allocation Factor calculator for that case, and recompute the expected decimal using the allocation factor instead of a direct NMA/unit-acres ratio.
